1000 Frames

1000 Frames formed when lead guitarist/vocalist Tyler Chase, who at the time was in an alternative group called The Trip Velvet, wanted to start a new band. He approached his friends--rhythm guitarist Luke Demers, bassist Alex Dagesse, and original drummer Kristian Shields--about joining. When Tyler had Luke and Alex over at his house to jam, they wrote their first song "Downfall" within 20 minutes. It was clear that this wasn't destined to be some side project; it was destined to be a full time band. Tyler quit The Trip Velvet, and the group started writing more material. In July of 2014, the band learned Kristian was moving to Idaho in August. This prompted the band to go to the studio and work on their debut EP. "Adventure" was released on August 20th, a couple weeks after Kristian's departure. In September, the band hired drummer Sam Warren.

1TF try to push the envelope when it comes to the current punk scene. With influences from Sum 41 and My Chemical Romance, they write music that sounds like the aggressiveness of classic punk music, with the polished sounds of today's alternative/pop-punk bands. [+]
