2007 Agrapart L'avizoise Brut

"The 2007 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru L’Avizoise has a level of tension and drive that the Mineral doesn’t quite seem to reach. Pear, green apples, spices, flowers, mint and chalk all meld together with impeccable grace. Nothing in particular stands out, just the wine's fabulous overall balance. Sweet floral and spice notes flesh out on the radiant, inviting finish. At the end of the day, the Avizoise is pretty approachable, young and that should make Agrapart fans happy. The Avizoise emerges from 50+ year-old vines in Les Robarts and La Voie d'Epernay. Dosage was 4 grams per liter. This bottle was disgorged on July 2013." [+]
