-- 93 Points Wine Spectator and ranked as the #36 Wine of the Year in 2012. All this, for just $24.99 per bottle on sale! --VERY limited quantities available today. Please note, once this sells out, there is 0 more available ... and this time we mean it ... We offered this wine a while back and it was a huge hit. The wine sold out and while we tried to buy more, we were told that there was not another bottle to be had. Then, in January, we met with several new suppliers and while flipping through one of the books, we noticed they had this same wine listed. Within minutes, a purchase order was cut and we secured everything they had in stock. The only issue ... it's not a lot of wine. If you missed out the first time, grab it now. It's hard to find many Wine Spectator Top 100 Wines in the market after the list comes out. This one ... is a really special find! Wine: "Made from a blend of several varieties: Mourvedre, the royal grape of Bandol, with a powerful and elegant structure imposes its typicality made subtle scents of leather, underbrush, and licorice. Grenache gives it roundness and fruit flavors. Carignan makes him slightly spicy notes of garrigue. The harvest is done manually at optimum maturity. Domaine de l'Olivette is vinified with care, including 12 days of alcoholic fermentation and followed by a maceration of 15 to 20 days. After aging 18 to 24 months in oak barrels, then bottle aged for 12 to 48 months depending on the vintage." "In its youth, it is as stylish as powerful. Over the years, it has made a new nobility of balance, roundness, richness and fullness that is particularly expressed in our special wines with potential care. It fully expresses its aromas and complexity to 18 degrees C. Young, it is "brilliant" with grilled meats, cheeses. Later, in harmony with the game, the meat sauce is sublime." - Winery [+]
