2009 Flechas De Los Andes Gran Malbec

"Dark crimson. Not much nose but very sweet, thick palate. From a partnership between Baron Edmond de Rothschild and Laurent Dassault. No shortage of palate impact. I would imagine this would go pretty well with the salt beef on the plate opposite me. Very like the Mendoza norm. Drink 2011 to 2015. (JR)" (02/11) 16 out of 20 points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages WINE: "The vineyard planted in 1999 at the foot of the Andes enjoys a dry climate that is tempered by its altitude (1,100 m).
