2010 Franco Espanola Rioja Bordon Crianza

"After destemming and light crushing, the selected grapes underwent tumultous fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 9 days at a temperature of 25ºC (This process involves moving the must and the skins daily inside the tank to favor color extraction). Aged 12 months in American white oak barriques of medium toast with racking every 6 months for natural clarification. Crimson red with ruby red hues, it displays soft aromas of toasted oak and vanilla. Structured and smooth it showcases a savoury maturity and elegant tannins. Good balance between fruits and spice in its long and elegant finish." -Winery [+]
