"The 2010 Selected Terroir Chardonnay saw 10% of the wine aged in barrel for 3 months. It is a fruity (pear and apple), simple, pleasant offering that delivers decent value for its humble asking price. The 2010 Amplus Chardonnay was sourced from lower yields than the preceding wines, fermented in new French oak and aged on its lees for 10 months. The wine was not put through malolactic fermentation. The oak is evident but not obtrusive and on the palate the wine has a pleasing roundness and a creamy texture. With plenty of spicy flavor, good depth, and excellent balance, it is an excellent value meant for drinking over the next 3-4 years." [+]
