2011 The Vineyardist Cabernet Sauvignon

"The Vineyardist is a singular bottling of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon produced off the estate’s seven acres of densely planted vineyards. Mark Herold, whose credits include Merus, Kobalt and his own eponymous label, is our winemaker. We completely declassified the first five vintages of the wine, as they did not meet our exacting standards. Our commitment is only to release wine that reflects the enormous potential of the Estate and essence of the Diamond Mountain District. Production is limited, varying between 200-400 cases per year, depending on the selection and vintage." -Winery [+]
