Adam Greaves

Adam Greaves is a corporate lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions and fund raisings across a wide variety of sectors.

His private equity work includes acting for Inflexion Private Equity on the sale of Reward Gateway to Great Hill Partners for £140 million ($217.6m), the £141 million (S220m) buyout with Auctus Industries of Shimtech Group from Bridgepoint Development Capital, the £105 million ($157m) sale of Aspen Pumps to 3i Group plc, and the £78.3 million ($129m) take private of Ideal Shopping plc; acting for senior management on their buyout, backed by JC Flowers, of Cabot Credit Management, a market leading acquiror and manager of consumer debt with £7.7 billion of assets under management and the subsequent sale of a controlling interest to Encore Capital for £128 million ($129m); acting for Sovereign Capital and other sellers on the £153 million ($229m) sale of WCL Group to Nord Anglia Education; and acting for senior management on the £472 million (S777m) buyout of SAV Credit backed by Värde.
