Alena McCorkle is an associate in the Frankfurt office of Latham & Watkins. She practices in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Department, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation as well as German and international arbitration.
In addition to her practice at Latham & Watkins, she is currently pursuing her doctorate in the area of civil procedure law.
In 2015, Ms. McCorkle was seconded to a major international bank in Milan, where she gained experience working in-house on complex litigation matters.
Before joining Latham as an associate, she worked as a research assistant in an international law firm and as a legal trainee in Latham & Watkins' Frankfurt and Chicago offices.
During her academic education in law and political sciences, she also studied at the University of Bologna.
