Alexander White is an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins, where he is a member of the firm’s Emerging Companies Practice.
Mr. White practices general securities and corporate law, with an emphasis on representing public and private companies in the technology and life sciences industries, venture capital funds and investment banks. His transactional practice includes securities offerings, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. His general company representation includes advising companies regarding securities law compliance, corporate governance matters, employment matters, equity incentives, and formation and startup matters.
Prior to joining Latham, Mr. White worked at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in the film finance department and at a social-enterprise internet startup in South America.
Mr. White received his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar. He received his BA cum laude, with distinction in Political Science, from Yale College.
