Sascha Heller is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins. Her practice includes a range of complex business and commercial litigation matters, including intellectual property, international arbitration and contractual disputes, as well as tort actions.
Ms. Heller’s pre-trial and other experience includes legal research, preparing deposition and trial materials, drafting motions for summary judgment, conducting client interviews, preparing witnesses, drafting expert reports, and drafting and responding to discovery requests.
Ms. Heller is involved in pro bono matters, including aiding in class action litigation to enforce the special education rights of incarcerated students and seeking retroactive foster care benefits for families denied payment.
While in law school, Ms. Heller served as a judicial extern for the honorable Terry J. Hatter of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She also served on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and as associate editor of Developments in Mental Health Law. Ms. Heller additionally was elected by her peers to serve on the University Judiciary Committee, the governing body of the University Judiciary System.
