Allison J. Cheung

Allison Cheung's practice encompasses a range of civil and criminal matters in federal and state courts, including complex contract litigation, criminal fraud prosecution, and general commercial disputes. She assists companies in responding to SEC and DOJ investigations and in conducting internal corporate investigations and related counseling.

Allison has extensive trial and litigation experience representing officers of public and private companies in fraud actions brought by the SEC, DOJ, and the California Attorney General. Prior to joining Jones Day, she served on the trial team in United States v. Roberts, which resulted in the first acquittal of a corporate executive in a stock option backdating prosecution. Allison also has represented companies in complex commercial, securities, and employment litigation. [1]
