Created in Phoenix in the spring of 2008, American Dali's roots stem from South Chicago a decade earlier. Founding members, Kristin and Ryan, grew up together pursuing music until Ryan left for Arizona. Ten years and 2000 miles later, Kristin moved cross country to start a studio project that turned into a full-time obsession.
American Dali released their 2008 debut EP "Plastic" accompanied with a video for the title track. In 2009 American Dali released their freshman full-length album, "Souls" LP. 2010 brings the latest album entitled "Red." All songs are available on iTunes, Rhapsody and Napster. With each endeavor, American Dali continues to grow and evolve their sound. American Dali's can be described as an eclectic blend of power-pop with a heavy alternative edge while maintaining an upbeat punk feel.
American Dali's sound is comprised of soaring, powerful vocals (Kristin), followed with heavy churning guitars (Ryan) and low-end melodic bass (Bill) with hard-hitting drums (Nathan) completing the line up. American Dali's massive rhythm section is complimented with commanding harmonies and decidedly pop hooks. With a draining live, energetic show that will leave you wanting more, American Dali has carved out a place in any scene.
American Dali continues to take their music across North America winning one fan at a time. Their successful “2000 Miles to Torrence Tour” in the fall of 2009 and their 2010 "RKadia Tour", brought a multitude of new fans with their grass roots approach. American Dali has embarked on a United States college radio campaign. This campaign of independent stations grows every week, spreading their unique sound from coast to coast. American Dali plans to continue performing live, writing, touring, recording and pursuing their dream. [+]
