Arry Vines, also known by the stage name AMET Ricky, is a lyricist, poet, and songwriter from Winston-Salem, NC. Born July 20, 1997, this young artist first began her creative journey a young age. She began dancing at the age of five as a ballerina, but changed her style into a more contemporary hip hop as she grew. By the age of 13, she was acting in theatrical plays and musicals. In 2014, she began her college journey at North Carolina Central University. From there, her musical journey as a lyricist took off. Her name became well-known.
As an artist, AMET Ricky's style captivates all audiences. Her lyrical word play is enticing and her flow soothes souls. Inspired by artists such as Lauryn Hill, Roxanne Shante', and Common, she continues to bring a style that is innovative and refreshing to modern hip hop.
