Amy Edgy

Amy Edgy's practice includes the representation of debtors, creditors' committees, secured lenders, DIP lenders, and other significant parties in connection with restructurings and corporate and municipal reorganizations. She has a broad range of experience including representing clients in distressed acquisitions and sales; secured financings; negotiating, structuring, and implementing cash collateral orders and debtor-in-possession financing agreements; chapter 11 and chapter 9 plans; and out-of-court restructurings. She has cultivated industry-specific experience in municipal bankruptcies, health care systems, cultural institutions, retail corporations, financial institutions, and airlines.

Recently, Amy has represented, among others, Emory Healthcare in the chapter 11 filing of Southern Regional Medical Center, MSD Performance Inc. and its U.S. subsidiaries in the chapter 11 filing and sale of all of their assets to Z Capital Partners L.L.C., and lenders in Jefferson County, the Asian Art Museum, and Forum Health. Prior to joining Jones Day, she advised debtors such as LJM2 Co-Investment, L.P. and Rhodes, Inc. and represented the City of Atlanta/Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the chapter 11 cases of Northwest Airlines Corporation and Delta Air Lines.
