Since joining the firm in 2011, Andrea Schneider has worked on a variety of litigation matters, focusing on white collar defense and investigations.
Ms. Schneider has worked extensively defending clients in connection with investigations by the Securities and Exchange Commission and other government entities. Ms. Schneider has worked on internal investigations on topics such as insider trading, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and export and import controls. She has advised and assisted clients with regard to their interaction with the government, including responding to government subpoenas and preparing disclosure documents.
Ms. Schneider also monitors the Eleventh Circuit for securities law opinions, and regularly drafts and sends summaries to the securities practice group.
Ms. Schneider has also assisted in a variety of pro bono matters, including assisting a client with an appeal to the Department of Veterans Affairs and helping a client obtain a green card under the Violence Against Women Act.
In law school, Ms. Schneider served as the Notes Editor for the New York University Journal of Legislation and Public Policy.
