Andreas Schwarz

Andreas Schwarz's practice focuses on civil and commercial law. He advises German and international companies in disputes before domestic courts and international arbitral tribunals, in the out-of-court settlement of disputes, and during the negotiation of domestic and international commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2015, Andreas worked in the litigation and arbitration practice of an international law firm in Düsseldorf. His recent experience includes: advising one of the global leaders in manufacturing special equipment for sugar plants in contract negotiations for projects in Italy and Egypt; advising an international automotive supplier in several disputes with automobile manufacturers and suppliers, particularly regarding warranty claims, product liability, and delivery stops; and working as part of a team representing a project financing company in an international arbitration regarding breach of contract and warranty claims relating to biomass power plants in Brazil.
