Andrew L. Rotenberg

Andrew Rotenberg has extensive experience in acting for clients on lending and restructuring matters. He regularly represents lenders and borrowers in various types of cross-border and multicurrency financings, including cash flow, secured and asset-based loans, and securitizations. He also advises creditors (including bondholders and distressed investors) and debtors in complex out-of-court multijurisdictional workouts and financial restructurings. Many of these transactions include complex structures and intercreditor arrangements as well as multiple tranches of debt. His clients include commercial and investment banks, finance companies, institutional investors, private equity funds, hedge funds, and alternative investment vehicles as well as public and private companies. He has substantial experience with the legal systems and workout procedures of more than 25 countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Andrew has advised on numerous asset-based loans and pan-European trade receivable securitizations, including in respect of Dana Corp., Doncasters Group, Exide Corporation, International Automotive Components Group, and JohnsonDiversey. He also led a team of attorneys advising the mezzanine bondholders in connection with the restructuring of Autodis. In addition, he has counseled lenders and bondholders in the Clinton Cards, Nybron, Thomson, and Waterford Wedgwood restructurings, among others. [1]
