Antonio Del Pino

Mr. Del Pino is a partner of Latham & Watkins and Co-chair of the Latin America Practice. Mr. Del Pino's practice focuses on cross-border acquisitions, financings, private equity transactions and restructurings. 

Mr. Del Pino has extensive experience representing clients in Latin America. He has been recognized for several years as a leading practitioner in the areas of Corporate, M&A, Banking and Projects by The Legal 500, Chambers and IFLR. He has also been recognized by Latin Business Chronicle, The Legal 500 Latin America and Latinvex as one of the top attorneys for Latin American transactions. 

Mr. Del Pino has worked on numerous complex multi-national acquisitions and joint ventures involving Latin America and the US and regularly represents banks and borrowers in a variety of finance and restructuring transactions, including recent matters for Citigroup and Goldman Sachs.

In addition, Mr. Del Pino has substantial experience in transactions involving regulated industries and has represented more than half a dozen governments in Latin America and Africa in the privatization and concession of infrastructure assets.

Mr. Del Pino was appointed to the United States State Department’s Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy and sits on the Board of Directors of the Council of the Americas. He currently serves as a member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee and has been involved in a number of pro bono matters involving Latin America, Africa and Asia including representing Acción International in connection with investments in microfinance institutions throughout Latin America and Asia.
