Armada ARW Womens Skis 2016

The ARW from Armada is a great all mountain freestyle ski for the intermediate to advanced skier that will spend some of their time in the park and some of their time on the frontside of the mountain. The Positive Camber will deliver a spring and edge hold with your turns. Armada's Hybrid Double Zone Core uses two different densities of wood to give you extra stability. A Laminate Matrix has directional layers of fiberglass that will give you a strong torsional strength for speeding down the mountain. The ARW has a CK (Carbon/Kevlar Stringer in the tail that adds a playful touch to the ski with a little extra pop in the tail at the end of your turns. To improve the durability of the ARW the edges are 2.5mm thick to withstand boxes and rails after a few seasons of heavy use. The 84mm waist of the ARW will be edgy and quick when you want to slice some carves, but will give you support when the groomers have some snow and crud on them. If you want a playful ski that skis equally well in the park and on the frontside the Armada ARW has a long standing tradition of being that ski. [+]
