Aryeh D. Richmond’s practice focuses on intellectual property and corporate transactions. Mr. Richmond has experience with complex intellectual property transactions including:
- Technology and content license, development and distribution agreements
- Video game publisher and developer agreements
- E-publishing agreements and multiparty investment agreements in the software industry
Mr. Richmond has negotiated complex licensing agreements for media, video game and theme park companies. He has also advised clients on Digital Millennium Copyright Act compliance and other privacy issues. He has also provided key support for energy company acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Richmond has worked on a variety of large finance and M&A deals including online video game and media company acquisitions.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Richmond founded and ran a video game development studio and served as a Vice President of Sales for a Shanghai-based online video game studio. He also brokered several deals between Hollywood animation studios and animation production studios in mainland China. Mr. Richmond was invited and served as an advisor to the China Games Publishing Association.
In law school, Mr. Richmond served as Assistant Chief Justice for the Scott Moot Court Honors Board and was selected as the first recipient of the Patrick J. McDonough award.
