Ashley F. Heintz

Ashley Heintz's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts with an emphasis on securities and corporate governance matters. Ashley represents clients in shareholder class action lawsuits and matters involving business torts, contract disputes, and professional negligence. She also counsels corporate boards, board committees, and senior management in connection with governmental and internal investigations. Her experience includes trial practice, motions practice, depositions, managing discovery, counseling on a variety of governance issues, and conducting internal investigations relating to shareholder demands, whistleblower complaints, potential causes of action, and pending litigation.

Ashley has an active pro bono practice, including matters from the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Firm's unaccompanied minors project, which assists children who enter the U.S. without a parent or guardian. She recently won a trial against a landlord for negligence and breach of its duty to repair and recovered the jurisdictional maximum damages for her clients who were homeless. [1]
