Baracutanga | Wiki | Everipedia, the encyclopedia of everything

Baracutanga's live sound has been a staple in New Mexico's music scene since its conception but has also ventured to the locals in Austin, Texas and North America's quintessential music city, New Orleans, Louisiana. The band's sound concept also gave them recognition and an honorable award-winning status; winning the New Mexico Music Awards' Albuquerque Song Competition in 2014 for their original tune “Rumba de Burque" and the 2015 New Mexico Music Award's “Best Original Arrangement” Award for “Deja de Matar”.

With their first full-length studio album released on September 2015, Baracutanga is looking to spread this fresh take on the South American flavor to an international audience; to have fans experience this astounding blend of new sounds with the traditional musical elements of South America. [+]
