Barton B. Clark

Barton Clark is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office and a member of the Corporate Department. He is also Co-chair of the Investment Funds Practice. Mr. Clark represents private equity funds and their sponsors and advisers, as well as other market participants, both internationally and in the United States. His practice addresses fund formation, portfolio investment structuring, sponsor equity and governance arrangements, as well as joint ventures and other strategic transactions. As part of his practice, Mr. Clark advises sponsors of private investment funds on registration and compliance matters under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940.
