A native of Washington D.C., Bruce Wayne began singing and dancing on the street corners of Harlem at the tender age of five. His early roots in the pentecostal church brought him national acclaim having sung with various gospel greats as The Mighty Clouds Of Joy, Golden Sons and The Unlimited Sounds. The fire and showmanship of such legends as James Brown, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson and others also help shape his singing style and stage mastery into an undeniable depth and realness few performers posses.
Bruce Wayne has performed in such notable rooms as BB King’s Blues Club,The City Winery, The Russian Tea Room, Jones Beach, Symphony Space and other world renowned venues. In 2005, Bruce Wayne was the guest of honor and headlining act at the annual Feast De’ Saint Marie in Guadeloupe (The French West Indies).
