From the cold concrete streets of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn NY comes BULLY THE KID. A band that spent years in a sweaty brownstone or a dingy basement rehearsal space fine tuning there craft. Finally unleashing their energy upon every club in the NYC scene, playing everything from the seedy dive bars of Brooklyn such as the Trash Bar all the way to some of the more popular venues of Manhattan...i.e Crash Mansion. After putting out their self produced four song debut "The Four on the Floor E.P." the band started branching out into Jersey and PA, and along with steady gigs in the city, BTK was building a solid tri-state fan base. Along with scoring some good press, a house gig in Hells Kitchen and big points in local and national battle of the bands contests, the boys were documenting everything and put together their first DVD "So Here We Are".
Two and a half years and hundreds of gigs later the boys hit the studio again and decided to go against the grain and surprised everyone by recording an acoustic album filled with new arrangements and different takes on some of the Bully the Kid classics. In light of a new record and the restlessness growing in their souls BTK hits the road on their first national tour relocating themselves on the other side of the country in a central california location known as Fresno. In less than a years time BTK find them selves yet again in the studio recording their first full length album, opening for national touring acts and gaining a solid west coast reputation. So be on the look out for these boys for they are making waves wherever they go. Their live show is fun and energetic, their songs are powerful and catchy....just all around a great F#%$@ing band [+]
