Camping Sununga

The Sununga Camping is located in front of one of the most beautiful beaches of Ubatuba, Sununga Beach, with an amazing view of the sea. It is located right between the beach and a nature reserve, providing its guests intense contact with local nature. The campground has gorgeous giant palm trees, perfect for arming hammocks and providing good shades for the tents.

The Sununga Beach is famous for the practice of Skimboarding (also known as Sonrisal) and it is where Brazilian and world championships of this sport are held. On the left of the beach is the legendary Gruta que Chora (Weeping Cave), famous tourist spot of the city. It is also the starting point of trails to isolated beaches such as Flamengo, Flamenguinho and Seven Springs. At 200 m from the campsite is located the Lazaro Beach with a calm sea that is ideal for children and water sports.

For the comfort of the guests, there are tiled bathrooms with hot shower, a common kitchen with stove, refrigerator, grill and other utilities and a common covered area. Free WiFi internet is available. Electrical sockets are scattered throughout the campsite. It is a large space, so the guests can park their vehicles close to the tents. There are also tents and camping equipment available to rent.
