Carl T. Tullson

Carl Tullson focuses his practice primarily on troubled company mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and financing transactions — particularly those including intellectual property, labor and pension issues. Mr. Tullson’s debtor representations include Delphi Corporation, Mark IV Industries and MF Global. He advised the official committee of unsecured creditors in American Airlines’ bankruptcy, a transaction that received the Turnaround Management Association Chicago/Midwest Chapter’s “2014 Large Transaction of the Year” award and was recognized in the Corporate & Commercial category in the Financial Times’ 2013 U.S. “Innovative Lawyers” report. Mr. Tullson also has advised on numerous traditional Chapter 11 cases for U.S. and international companies, including ATLS Acquisition, LLC; Eastman Kodak Company; Energy Future Holdings Corp.; ITR Concession Company LLC (a/k/a Indiana Toll Road); Lehman Brothers; MacKeyser Holdings, LLC; New England Compounding Center; Reader’s Digest Association, Inc.; The Standard Register Company; and Visteon Corporation.
