Casteel E. Borsay

Casteel Borsay focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She has experience with consumer fraud class actions, product liability claims, professional negligence claims, personal injury claims, and contract disputes in federal and state courts. She has been involved in multiple stages of litigation, developing a wide range of experience that includes taking depositions, managing e-discovery, conducting legal research, and briefing discovery and dispositive motions.

Casteel is currently a member of a Jones Day team that defends Laboratory Corporation of America in professional negligence litigation related to its Pap smear testing. She is also involved in Jones Day's defense of the "Engle progeny" smoking and health lawsuits brought against R.J. Reynolds in Florida. Casteel has been a member of two trial teams in cases tried to verdict that have included briefing and motions practice, offensive and defensive discovery, and evaluation, development, and preparation of fact and expert witnesses for trial. Other clients she has represented include Abercrombie & Fitch, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, and the University of Notre Dame. [1]
