Charles Crain is an associate in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins.
Mr. Crain received his JD from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a senior editor and article editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law. He is also an alumnus of the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Crain was a volunteer in the Misdemeanor Unit of the San Francisco County District Attorney’s Office. Previously, he was a Post-Bar Clerk in the Law & Motion Unit of the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and, during law school, an Extern at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Crain holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a degree in political science. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Crain was a freelance journalist based in New York, Chicago and Baghdad.
