Christa Wells

Christa Wells will captivate you with her poignant lyrics and unique voice, but she first came onto the scene as a songwriter in the early 2000s, writing hit singles for Plumb, POG and Natalie Grant. "Held" - recorded by Natalie Grant - became Grant's career break-out hit, crossing genres and elevating the standard for inspirational writing.

In 2006, Christa was awarded GMA's coveted Songwriter of the Year and simultaneously began working toward releasing her own projects as an indie artist.

Touring on and off since 2009, she continues to divide her time between North Carolina and Nashville, writing for and with other artists. She has released three solo albums of original music (Frame the Clouds, How Emptiness Sings, and Feed Your Soul).

She will release an ep of alternative 80s & 90s covers, produced by award-winning producer Ben Shive, in February 2015.
