Chris Hanfling practices primarily in the areas of U.S. federal and international taxation. He assists in advising corporations on the tax aspects of complex transactions, including international and domestic mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs. He also assists in counseling corporations facing a variety of tax issues, both internally and before the Internal Revenue Service. In addition, Chris helps pro bono clients secure and maintain tax-exempt status for their nonprofit organizations.Chris also contributes to the Practical Guide to U.S. Transfer Pricing and the Federal Circuit Bar Association's monthly Federal Circuit Case Digest.
