Christos Malamataris is an associate in the Brussels office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s global Antitrust & Competition Practice. He advises clients on all areas of EU competition law, including merger control, abuse of dominance, cartels, and State aid. Mr. Malamataris has represented companies in a range of sectors on these issues, including IT, electronics consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, air transport and postal services.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins, Mr. Malamataris worked as associate at another global firm. He was also a trainee at the European Commission’s DG Competition (Financial Crisis Task Force), the Legal Service of the Greek State (Ministry of Health), and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
