Chronic Vitality

Chronic Vitality is an exciting rock and roll band that is dedicated to putting on an amazing show and getting the entire audience to get on their feet and dance. From Davis, CA, the band plays all different styles and generations of rock and its roots (original songs and covers). The band was formed by brothers Michael Mann (guitar/vocals) and Garrett Mann (drums) in the summer of 2010 with the goal of bringing back the excitement of rock and roll to modern-day audiences. Featuring “The Professor” Aryien Shapiro on lead guitar and Kentin Cantwell on bass, CV has a unique sound that varies from most rock bands because of Jonathan Youngs, who plays saxophone, keyboard, and percussion. They released a demo CD on August 22, 2011. On February 19, 2012, they won Gorilla Music’s Battle of the Bands at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco, CA in front of a huge audience. CV has been featured in two magazines: Punk Globe and FanBase Music; and on November 11, 2012, released their first album of all original music called "On Our Own." Playing many gigs throughout the Bay Area and Davis, the band has developed a very loyal fan base and always draws a large crowd. They just got done with a mini tour of Southern California. Be prepared to rock out and dance all night long when CV is playing!
