In August of 2013 a chance meeting between Chuck Burns and Ty Rone took place at a slow open mic night in Brooklyn. This marked the birth of a busking duo. They often busk in between shows, especially while on the road. Using the streets to test new material, they've quickly amassed a large repertoire of material.
Chuck Burns' signature bellows come from his roots in death metal. His turbo-charged juggling of guitar, vocals, and foot drums has quickly solidified himself as one of New York City's finest one man bands. Ty Rone developed his Appalachian-scented harmonica chops in Virginia while in high school. His style further expanded in Chicago, through frequent jams with veterans of the Chicago blues circuit.
