In 1988 while touring Argentina, world-renowned wine consultant Michel Rolland set out to find an exceptional terrain to produce a truly great wine. After laying eyes on a plot of land south of Mendoza, he knew instantly that the fertile soil of the Uco Valley would produce a fantastic wine – there, he founded Campo Vista Flores. Joining forces with six growers from Bordeaux, the group embarked on an ambitious project, naming their wine Clos de los Siete (translating to group or plot of seven). Clos de los Siete honors Argentina’s top varietal, Malbec, blended with traditional Bordeaux varietals to produce a delicious, balanced, and full-bodied wine. [+]
