Comartin 2012 Red Blend Cuvee Cassidy (GSM)

Named for Adam and Jennifer Comartin’s youngest daughter, Cassidy, the 2012 Cuvee Cassidy is a special 6 barrel selection of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre (‘GSM’). The grapes are sourced from Camp Four Vineyard and Tierra Alta Vineyard, both in Santa Barbara County, which has proven to be an exceptional region for Rhone-style varietals. Comprised of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, this wine has excellent balance, soft tannins, and delicate fruit flavors. Grenache and Mourvedre both bring softness, red fruit, and spice to the blend, while the Syrah brings structure, color and dark berry fruit. An excellent expression of Rhone grapes from Santa Barbara. [+]
