Crissie McCree

Crissie McCree is a singer/songwriter who rocks a spectrum from folk to pop, acoustic to pedal-driven. What ties it together is a voice you’ll openly invite to float in your head and lyrics that will settle in your heart.

McCree is originally from Youngstown, OH, where she performed solo and as a member of several bands. She made her first independent release, “Rough Cuts”, in 2002. Subsequent releases include “One Woman Riot” in 2003, and “Better in the Light” in 2009. McCree moved to Fayetteville, NC in 2008 to work in education, and she continued to work on her solo project in her free time. In the summer of 2012, she headed toward the coast and was able to focus more on music. On January 12, 2013, McCree celebrated the release of the EP “New Day”. She was honored with the 2013 Carolina Music Award for Best Rock Female. In the spring of 2014, McCree relocated to Nashville, TN to continue with the next part of the journey. [+]
