Daniel Ehret is a counsel in the Frankfurt office, where he practices in the firm's Finance Department, primarily focusing on all varieties of insolvency and restructuring matters. Mr. Ehret particularly advises investors, lenders and other creditors as well as distressed companies on out-of-court restructurings, refinancing of debt, rescue financing, acquisition of debt, equity and assets as well as bankruptcy proceedings. In addition, he advises financial institutions, corporations and investors on acquisition finance and corporate finance transactions.
Mr. Ehret's LLM thesis focused on the European Council Regulation on Insolvency Proceedings and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvencies being adopted in Chapter 15 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
