Dar Bahija - Maison arabo-andalouse a Fes

Dar Bahija has been fully restored in 2009, it is heavily loaded with materials traditionally used in Fez: stucco, cedar wood, wrought iron, tin and of course zellig.

Many trades were involved in the restoration, all came from Fez or surrounding area, potters, masons, plasterers, carpenters, painters etc. They managed to retain the techniques used for centuries and we thank them again for the quality of their work.
Decorative objects and furnishings were chosen with patience and always with a view to preserve the charm of the old houses of the medina. We let you discover its atmosphere ...

To welcome you, we also have a large living room and a small lounge, comfortable and tastefully furnished. They welcome you for breakfast, drink mint tea or simply relax.

The terrace of 80 m2, with a large arbor Zelliges hosts a table and chairs, but also large benches that invite you to relax. In spring, it is the ideal place to relax and have a drink, whatever the time of day. In the summer, at night, come enjoy the starry night.

Less than 5 minutes walk from the house, there are several good restaurants of traditional Moroccan cuisine, currency exchange, small grocery stores.
