Darren Murphy

Darren Murphy is an experienced transactional lawyer focused on the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors in Asia Pacific. He has represented a wide range of clients on their investments and transactions in the region, including on projects in Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Mongolia, India, Australia, and PNG. His clients include outside investors into Asia as well as Asia-based corporations and government entities.

Darren has acted on many of the Asia region's most significant oil and gas, LNG, and floating LNG projects. He is involved in all stages of oil and gas project development, including title and tenure, upstream issues and exploration, government agreements including production sharing contracts, joint ventures, royalty interests, unitizations, farm-ins and farm-outs, sales and offtake, facility development including pipelines, LNG transportation, facility access rights, regulatory and operational issues, regulatory hearings, and mergers and acquisitions. Darren is experienced with conventional and unconventional gas sources and with projects for pipeline gas and LNG, including several floating LNG projects for liquefaction and regas. [1]
