David Tolley is an associate in the Boston office of Latham & Watkins and a member of the firm’s Global Recruiting Committee. Mr. Tolley primarily represents clients in the healthcare and life sciences industries. Mr. Tolley advises healthcare organizations, including academic medical centers, hospitals, health IT companies, medical device manufacturers and other organizations on a variety of regulatory, compliance and litigation matters.
Mr. Tolley has represented hospitals, medical device manufacturers and other healthcare organizations under investigation by state and federal authorities and he has also conducted internal investigations for a variety of healthcare organizations. Mr. Tolley has also assisted with development of comprehensive and effective compliance programs for healthcare organizations. Mr. Tolley also advises regularly on healthcare privacy issues and state and federal laws governing payments to healthcare professionals.
Mr. Tolley is a member of the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (Massachusetts/Rhode Island Chapter), a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
Mr. Tolley earned a master's degree in ethics (biomedical ethics focus) from Yale University. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tolley practiced at another leading firm in Boston.
