David G. Meyer
Dave Meyer’s practice focuses on antitrust and commercial litigation. At the trial level, he has represented clients in private antitrust litigation (both individual plaintiff matters and class actions), including the ongoing defense of a major railroad in a multidistrict putative class action. He has also handled a variety of other high-stakes litigation, including patent infringement, alleged trade secret theft, contract disputes, and claims alleging violations of international law under the Alien Tort Statute. He is experienced in arbitrations as well as civil and criminal trials in both federal and state court.Dave has also handled federal and state appeals in both civil and criminal cases. His appellate experience includes a wide range of substantive areas, such as antitrust, unfair competition, Lanham Act, product liability, punitive damages, First Amendment, housing rights, class certification, international law, and the federal sentencing guidelines. He has also served as a volunteer mediator for the Second Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal.
