David Adams is an associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins. His practice involves a range of federal and state litigation matters, including commercial disputes, white collar defense, internal investigations, unfair competition litigation, and trade secrets and intellectual property disputes.
Mr. Adams also maintains an active pro bono practice in the areas of immigration and asylum, including representing clients in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Asylum Office.
While attending law school at the University of Virginia, Mr. Adams served as an extern for The Honorable Garrett Wong of the Superior Court of California, San Francisco. He also served on the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of Criminal Law, represented UVA in mock trial competitions, and was an active leader on the executive board of UVA’s Black Law Students Association.
