David I. Paulson

David Paulson represents lenders and borrowers nationally in a wide variety of commercial financial transactions, with an emphasis on complex financings, workouts, and restructurings for leading commercial banks and other lenders. David has significant experience representing administrative agents, lenders and borrowers in the negotiation, documentation, workout, foreclosure, and disposition of construction, permanent, shared appreciation, credit enhancement, and other secured and unsecured financings and in the participation and syndication of loans.

Areas of special focus include REIT finance; hospitality finance; homebuilder lines of credit; senior housing; note purchases and sales; and mezzanine, A/B, and other forms of subordinated financing. Additionally, a significant portion of David's time is spent working out troubled credits, from single-asset project and construction loans, to large syndicated corporate lines of credit. [1]
