David J. DiMeglio

David DiMeglio's practice focuses on complex civil litigation, particularly toxic torts and product liability. He has defended mass tort cases across the country involving the pharmaceuticals, electronics, agriculture, equipment manufacturing, and consumer products industries. David has defended products ranging from prescription drugs and consumer electronics to off-road vehicles and heavy equipment. He also has defended against claims of cancer, asbestosis, silicosis, sterility, and chronic diseases. He has substantial experience defending against claims of employment discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, fraud, unfair business practices, and violations of California's Proposition 65 and other state and federal environmental laws.

David's recent trial experience includes a high-profile case for IBM involving complex issues of chemical exposure and alleged health effects. After a nearly five-month trial, the California jury returned a unanimous defense verdict, which was recognized as one of the top defense verdicts of 2004. [1]
