David M. Monde

David Monde has more than 25 years of litigation experience involving products liability; aviation law; trade secrets, unfair competition, and restrictive covenants; franchises; complex commercial disputes; and special education matters.

Since 2008, David has tried to judgment 12 cases (11 jury, one bench), coordinated the defense of 167 Georgia products cases for Yamaha, and argued in the Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, including securing the only Georgia appellate decision to ever reverse a plaintiff's verdict in a strict liability case on assumption of risk as a matter of law. He has previously represented GE in two dozen actions involving aviation contracts, maintenance services, and product claims. Areas of recent focus include product liability, dealership, commercial airline, food service and concessions management, specialty chemicals, and wireless telecommunications. [1]
