David W. Schecter

David Schecter litigates complex commercial and intellectual property disputes in federal and state courts throughout California. David is often relied upon to create a winning case strategy, brief and argue motions, and conduct and oversee fact and expert discovery. He has significant experience in all phases of civil litigation, including defending against preliminary injunction applications, taking and defending depositions, prepping and examining witnesses at trial, arguing punitive damages issues and post-trial motions, and briefing appellate issues in the Ninth Circuit and the California Courts of Appeal.

David's recent litigation matters involved claims of trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract, defamation, conversion, trespass to personal property, involuntary dissolution of a corporation, and unfair business practices under California's Unfair Competition Law.
