Dennis Craythorn is counsel in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Mr. Craythorn advises public company clients on corporate, securities and governance issues, including compliance with Exchange Act disclosure requirements, proxy rules, insider trading rules, stock exchange governance rules, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and related regulations. Mr. Craythorn represents public company clients across various industries, from Fortune 500 to emerging companies.
On a pro bono basis, Mr. Craythorn is actively involved in immigration law and policy matters and was a lead author of Assembly Line Injustice: Blueprint to Reform America's Immigration Courts on behalf of the firm's pro bono client, Appleseed.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Craythorn worked for several years at the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on international trade and investment issues. While at OMB, Mr. Craythorn also handled budget, policy and planning matters with respect to the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), US Trade and Development Agency and Peace Corps. Mr. Craythorn represented OMB on the interagency Trade Policy Staff Committee, the senior civil service level body that develops and coordinates the US Government's position on trade and trade-related investment issues.
