Dr. Jean R Etienne, MD is a 1994 graduate of Universidad Nacional de Corodoba in Argentina, Facultad de Ciencias Medicas graduated with MD degree. In 1999 Dr. Etienne started his residency program at Brooklyn Hospital, in Brooklyn, NY in internal medicine. In 2002 he went on cardiology research (detection of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy on EKG vs. Echocardiogram) and was awarded certificate for outstanding patient care. In 2002-2003, Dr. Etienne was nominated Chief Resident/Attending Physician ar Brooklyn Hospital where he was orienting and educating Cornell medical students and medical residents. In June of 2002 he received the Eugenie Fribourg Award in recognition of dedication and commitment as a teacher. In December of 2002, he got his board certification in Internal Medicine. In 2003-2006, Dr.Etienne was an ER attending Physician at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn a level 1 Trauma Center where he treated GSW/trauma, Head/Spine Injury, Rape/Domestic abuse/Cardiac, Respiratory, renal/diabetes crisis, CVA/Neurological, overdose/psychiatric crisis and other emergent conditions.
